GH words
GH does three things: it is silent after a vowel (light, night, high), it sounds like f in a small group (laugh, cough, rough), and it is a hard g at the start of a word (ghost, ghetto). The silent cases once represented a throaty sound English lost in the 1400s. Sort each word by ear.
